Evolve
Evolve, a 16-week adult mentoring program, provides a transformative experience for participants struggling to make ends meet, living in unstable and stressful situations, and experiencing poverty. Within the program, we set four goals:
1. Improve housing stability
2. Enhance economic stability
3. Develop the soft and hard skills needed for employment
4. Engage in the life-planning process.
Evolve participants create their own plans for a sustainable life, build healthy relationships with others, set short- and long-term goals, and develop a step-by-step plan to achieve those goals. Transportation and childcare are available if needed. A meal is always included.
Participants will be paired with a guide to help them through the program and partner with them on this journey. Group classes will be every Thursday from 6-9 pm at the Dream Center of Forsyth County at 1201 N. Liberty Street. Dinner will be served at 6 pm, and classes will start promptly at 7 pm. If you would like to be a participant or guide, click on the application links as classes will begin on August 7.
