Founded in May 2005 by local resident Phyllis Bonds, Outreach Alliance for Babies Inc. is a grassroots 501(c)(3) public non-profit organization with a mission of supporting the community’s commitment to decrease infant mortality and promote child development and safety. This is accomplished by providing layette bags which include a Safe Sleep Kit and other necessities.

A part of the Dream Center since 2015, Outreach Alliance for Babies works with community agencies in Forsyth County that have identified clients with "significant financial" needs which prevent them from purchasing needed items for their child. The client may either be in the last trimester of pregnancy or have an infant from newborn to three months of age.

A typical layette consists of a tote bag stocked with diapers, diaper wipes, wash cloths, baby wash, baby lotion, sleep and play sets, onesies, bibs, receiving blankets, etc.

Financial donations or donations of new merchandise are always accepted in support of this initiative.

Family Life Counseling, a 501c3 organization established in 2018, offers to the community individual and family counseling, substance abuse counseling, and pre-marriage and marriage assessments through a program called Symbis (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts).
